From Bad to Worse

So Tanner did not get better after our visit to urgent care Sunday night - he got worse! He started crying inconsolably around 8pm and this lasted off and on until 11pm when we was breathing so hard he was panting and then stopped breathing for a few seconds! Off to the ER we went. They got him back super fast and he had a fever so they dosed him with Motrin. The ER doctor was super nice and checked on his chest x-ray from earlier in the day. Oh, the stupid doctor at urgent care read it wrong! The radiologist read it and saw pneumonia in his right lung!!!! SUPER! Was anyone going to call and tell us that had we not ended up in the ER?

So, after a long night of blood tests, IV antibiotics, and hanging out at Northwest Medical Center's ER we got home around 4:30am with a baby with pneumonia. He goes to see his doctor this afternoon and we are just thankful he did not have to be admitted to the hospital. Poor Baby T!
