Tanner went on his first airplane trip to Las Vegas this past week. I had a conference to attend for work and since it was in Las Vegas it made sense to take T with me so we could stay with my mom and she could see Tanner and spend some time with him. Tanner was great on the flights. There were empty seats each time so I got to bring his carrier on with me which gave him his own seat and let him sleep better.We arrived in Vegas early Tuesday morning, went out to breakfast and then Tanner slept a lot that day since he was up at 4am for our flight. That evening we went out for a nice steak dinner.
Wednesday and Thursday I had my conference so Tanner stayed with my mom and Gene and played, went for walks, got held way too much (even when sleeping), and all the things grandparents do to spoil a baby. I was home for dinner each night and Tanner even had his first taste of spaghetti on Wednesday. He loved it!
On Friday my mom threw a "Meet Tanner" party for all of my step dad's family since they had not met him yet. It was a lot of fun and even though Tanner was a bit grumpy since he was teething that did not stop all the attention he received!

Luckily mom mom's neighbor had an exersaucer that she uses when her niece comes to visit so it was so nice of her to let Tanner use it. He loved it since it bounces and ours at home does not
